| The wheatfields of western Oklahoma and their infamous crop circles brought waves of awed UFO fanatics, all of whom remain convinced that the now-debunked ruse was anything but. But no one could explain the multitude of murdered tourists with necks snapped, lungs stuffed with hay, and no fingerprints on their bodies. The murderer was eventually found: a living scarecrow with a sign around its neck: “He Who Wilts.” The authorities assumed that this was some form of profane golem created and animated by a mysterious pagan order. However- with no remnants of the forest cult to be found- the UFO fanatics are adamant that the scarecrow is ultimate proof of interplanetary life. With further criminal investigation pending, He Who Wilts has been shuffled into the Slayground arena to battle in AMPUTHEATRE combat. The scarecrow exhibits an as-yet-unexplained influence over a murder of ravens; the cawing of whom drives Crucifiend into untold fury as he remembers the torment that starved crows once brought to his bound flesh so long ago… | |||||||||

Atypical of Soulless Slashers, He Who Wilts has quite the well-rounded defensive game. Up close he has some nasty Impaling and Throwing capacity, while his long-range game- specifically the Raven Dive- is based on inconvenience and annoyance. Save the Carrion Crows to drive home a point to a hard-fought opponent. |
