| Another of the twisted results from the despicable experiments that occurred beneath the Evil Warden Varga’s prison, Locusta is a giant carnivorous plant. Long a popular death-trap in Varga’s arena, Locusta’s strong vines grant her a steady mobility even from the confines of her pot. Named after the first recorded serial killer (one of Varga’s personal heroes), it was through regular feedings of Amputech-infused blood that granted Locusta both its size and vastly accelerated regrowth. When resisting her eventual arrest for the “Angelgate” scandal, according to the arrest report, Varga fled to her laboratory where her man-eating plant was kept. As a member of SWAT attempted to apprehend the mad Warden, she kicked the officer straight into Locusta’s jaws. To Varga’s dismay, the plant would not devour the police officer, who recovered and arrested the Evil Warden. From that experience, Locusta’s behavior suggests either a strong, if rudimentary, intelligence- or that the plant only eats Slashers, as the precious Amputech it needs flows in their veins only... | |||||||||

Locusta's Spore Bombs are versatile weapons. Since only she knows when they'll detonate, they're great for keeping attackers away. Or she can just Pearl Harbor everyone in a nearby pile-on. She gains a powerful Sunder after taking enough damage, and her Regrowth saves her from the labor of running after her own limbs. |
